Today
Is the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse
As well as, Buddha Purnima – the full moon marking Buddha’s birth.
A period of
integration and initiation
A period of
going deep, illuminating the shadow, and merging dark and light.
{Exhausting!}

The full moon rises,
illuminating the way.
Slowly The Shadow arrives.
Meeting the light. Overcoming it briefly,
in order to make its presence known…
In order to be seen
To remind us
That we are both shadow and light
That life is both dark and bright
That there are gifts in both
And balance to be found in between
… “the middle way” as The Buddha taught…
Darkness has it’s moment
And then
the light emerges again.

Allow what comes today and in the days that follow.
Allow it to be seen.
Let it to show its depth, it’s truth, it’s multifaceted nature to you.
Look at things in a different light
And from a different perspective.
Let things have their moment.
Let them arrive and move away.
Not all things need to come and stay.
Remember
past and present meet in this moment.
No need to anchor in too deep
These next few weeks are for
release, making space, observing, integrating…
