TODAY, officially begins Mercury Retrograde
through January 8, 2017.
In keeping with the themes for the end of 2016…
expansive energy, opportunity, and the SHATTERING OF ILLUSIONS…
Remember that Mercury only appears to be moving backwards,
and so this is also true true for the any “backwards” energy which seems to come about during this time.
Utilize this time to shatter the illusions you are still carrying which prevent you from being expansive with your energy.
“There is no time for playing small”
(another repeated message these last few months)
Be like the a clever monkey….
Take advantage of the opportunities to
review the past from where you reside now
…as the person you are today…
while avoiding getting pulled back into “undesirable behavior patterns and wounds” that you have worked so hard to move beyond.
Break free of “the golden chains that bind” you to those patterns may require setting intentions, each day, that anything which comes up will be received with love and appreciation – no matter how difficult.
Think of it as though you are cleaning out a storage space. You come across something which holds an emotional trigger. You don’t need it. Nor do you really want it
but something keeps you from letting it go.
{PAUSE & BREATHE}
Exam it.
Sit with it – even if just for a moment,
and reconfirm that this…
emotional trigger, behavior pattern, relationship, lower vibration, or reoccurring “life theme” (lesson)…
has served it’s purpose.
Look at it,
take (back) what is needed from it (emotionally)
then let it go.
In this way we can appreciate the “opportunity to re-visit/re-examine”
as a blessing which shows us how far we have come
while, if need be, placing a spotlight on that which still needs our attention.
Ultimately, reinforcing the lasting change we have made and/or would like to make in this journey of the soul.
(Allowing us to go freely up the mountain)
* Watch out for EGO (the downside of “The Clever Monkey”), in yourself and in others.
It may go overboard during this time… lashing out when feeling wounded.
Pause & Breathe… Be intentional
As always, expect
glitches in communication, mechanics, and travel (yes, just in time for the holidays)
And relationships or “old issues” from the the past to unexpectedly show up.
Be brave
Welcome the light
Be EXPANSIVE
