Today,
we welcome a little more light in our life,
a lot more energy,
change & inspiration.

The Equinoxes are the two days a year when light and dark – i.e. day and night, are equal. After the vernal equinox (yesterday) the amount of daylight then continues to increase, slowly shortening the nights. Eventually moving us to the “longest day of the year” – the summer solstice.

{“Longest day” meaning the day where the sun shines the longest. The peak of the light. Winter solstice is the “longest night” There are, of course, still only 24 hours in a day.}

With the vernal equinox we also step into the realm of aries and the new zodiac year.
Aries being the first sign of the zodiac. (Aries season is March 21st to April 19th.)
A ton of change and a whole new attitude is moving in. Further magnifying the power and intensity of the equinox and moon over these next few days.
Aries season is a time of new beginnings, and sparks of inspiration.
Aries is a bold sign who knows how to get what it wants, so take advantage of that energy.
In the next month, we will be focused on how to move forward in the next phase of life and put our dreams and all that planning of the past few months into action.
And this begins TODAY!

Though this is a highly energizing, positive time,
now through April 19th, be mindful of some of Aries’ challenges…
Impatience, short-tempered & arrogance are highlighted.
Aries is “The Ram”, after all, prone to butting heads and wanting all the attention.
The Ram’s motto:
“to ram or not to ram, that is the question.”

As well this week,
the light of the Supermoon shines brightly and boldly, giving us peak access to its gifts and manifesting powers through Saturday.
What is set in motion with this moon will be influenced (& will influence) through the summer, culminating with the fall equinox and September’s New Moon. With each subsequent month/moon adding it’s own special ingredient to the mix.

…AND
We continue to be reminded of the power of water.
Its importance in our lives,
Its cleansing abilities, and
Its destructive nature.
Connecting with water in some deeper, more ritualistic way will be of great benefit.
