Focus the attention on what you are doing, could be doing, and want to do…
Avoid the harsh and unforgiving energy of self judgment
and, even more so, of judging others.
For what we find in others we can surely find in ourselves.
“Judgment” also carries an underlying energy of placing ourselves above another,
bringing a certain “lack of accountability” for our own less than desirable behaviors. Which then becomes a diversion from looking too closely at ourselves.
{This is not the absolute around judgment but IS what the guidance would have us focus on during this time period.}
Reaffirming connections with the higher self and higher energies – guides, angels, intuitive channels… through stillness, contemplation, or meditation will be given an extra powerful boost (forward push) this week.
It is also a good time to move energy that is stagnant, or which seems to be weighing you down.
(Change up your routine.)
These connections and shifts help you to
Welcome in the new, and
bring insights and wisdom that will support you in the days and months ahead.
COMPROMISE,
especially around “marriage” or partnerships,
is also supported.
Utilize the opportunities around and gifts of
LOVE, insight, wisdom and connection
to bring about mutually supportive agreements.
*** VALENTINE’S DAY *** Weds, Feb 14th
Though this day is a “fabricated” holiday,
some might say – created to sell candy, cards, flowers, jewelry…
we have – with our collective energy, placed a certain energetic imprint on it.
All this focused energy on romance and love is wonderful.
Yet there is also “EXPECTATION” and a level of anxiety that comes along with it.
Expectation is conditional love.
True love is unconditional.
So, it is this expectation that we are being urged to set aside.
For expectation has the ability to lower the vibration of any loving gesture or intention – of both the giver and the receiver.
Any opportunity to celebrate LOVE in all its many forms, should be the focus.
Any authentic expression of love should be met with gratitude.
In fact, “GRATITUDE”- more so than Love, is the theme of the day.
Count your blessings, as they say, and
Keep in mind that this is, indeed, just a day.
The real measure of love unfolds with time.

RELEASE EXPECTATIONS
Free yourself from the lower vibrational garbage
Just as we are always given learning opportunities,
We are always given opportunities to release and begin again.
Give any lingering frustrations – since the last full moon, to this New Moon.
There is so much more waiting to unfold for us,
if we can just get out of our own way,
and get beyond being stuck in the comfort zone.
{With the note that this “comfort zone” is also found within our suffering. There is a false sense of safety in the familiarity of our suffering. We know what is expected, and how to perform – no matter how much we dislike it, versus courageously moving into “the unknown” – no matter the promise of good that it brings}
Authenticity,
alignment with truth and purpose
connection with the higher self through stillness and contemplation
Will clear the way and illuminate the path of Self Mastery.
Be flexible – open minded with an open heart,

Year of the Earth DOG
{echoing the totem of WOLF brought forward for 2018}
According the Chinese, Dog Year brings an ease of abundance when we are open to receiving without fear or conditions (i.e. let go of expectations).
Dog is loyalty, reliability and unconditional love.
Earth Dog,
reminds us to connect with nature to help ground our “wild” energy, and to maintain balance and perspective.
WOLF Totem brings loyalty, support and protection of the pack.
Working with the pack and making those “compromises” that are in alignment with the Highest Good for both the individual and “The Pack” (marriage, partnerships)
Yet {Lone wolf} also reminds us of the need to do our own thing, and support our personal goals and dreams.
