…So we are in the FINAL days and FULL MOON of 2020
and, with this,
we begin the final closing out of 2020 and the past (two) decade.
Gathering what remains into two areas:
To stays behind
&
To carry forward
“What goes where” – within the stay or go, has already been determined,
Now we are simply going through the motions.
The final ritual of it all, so to speak.
Though we may wish it to just be done already,
these final days are necessary
In fact, regarding those things we will be asked to engage with,
this is the most important part of the whole year.
Technically the moon begins to wane as soon as it has reached its peak,
However, energetically speaking we are within its peak of
“ILLUMINATION” and creation
through New Year’s Day.
What is being illuminated are the lessons of the year – both learned and “in progress”
What is being created is the playlist and tool kit for the year ahead.
This is the time to consider
a word of the year, personal goals, and the overall energetic imprint you are striving for in 2021.
Towards the end of the day Friday, Jan 1st 2021
that waning period will kick in.
With it fully putting to rest 2020
with January’s dark moon period (11th to 14th)
(So a solid 2 more weeks is all we have left)
By the New Moon on 1/14/2021
the transition will be complete.
No looking back!
Today and through Friday,
The various energies of the whole of the past year will move in and out.
It will be emotional, unexpected, overwhelming, tasking…
While also transformative, inspiring, hope-filled…
Though it may seem that we have already had more down time than we can handle,
the push to the new year requires us to be
especially responsive to our needs around rest and nourishment.
Giving even more space around social engagement
– even if it already feels like minimum engagement is happening.
This is because of the amount of energy moving through
and the intensity of that movement, that shifting, and what is needed to acclimate to it all.
Allow yourself to rest – to get that extra sleep,
Drink plenty of water, warming decaffeinated detoxifying teas & nourishing broths
Take long hot baths or showers
And try to get outside for some walks, a bike ride, quiet time, etc.
When it comes to mindset,
allow those goals and intentions for 2021 to come to you
Ask your higher self to tell you what that should be.
Keep your thoughts directed to the positive.
Avoid lingering on the past
– even the immediate past of the last few days and weeks.
Keep your focus on the present with an eye towards the future
Finally,
Don’t rush it.
trust that what is meant for you has come and will come to you in YOUR own timing.
We are all anxious to move forward.
And guess what, we already are
It looks different for each and every one of us
