Today Venus goes Retrograde (through Nov 15th)
The New Moon – 10/08, begins to enter as well.
{justice, “the bridge”, connections}
VENUS, The Goddess of Love, relationships, CREATIVITY, and finances (resources).
She oversees our value system and our HEART.
(Another aspect of Venus is Aphrodite {Greek}. Aphrodite is more gentle, more subtle, and helps to bring
sustainability and long-lasting change to our to our lives and our relationships.)
This is NOT a superficial time
but does bring about opportunities for new beginnings.
Just as “fall” calls us to harvest what is needed to sustain us
as we begin our descent towards the deeper, introspection of winter…
Venus Retrograde asks us to gather our resources
of “Love & Heart“,
to aid us as we are pushed to dive down below surface level
and confront Ego.
It asks us to put to rest that which does not serve heart based living,
to trust in the process, for the process comes from Love,
and create space for “the new” {expansion of Love & Heart} to begin to form.
As with all retrogrades, it brings the opportunity to REVIEW and ADJUST.
Along with the ILLUSION of things moving backwards.
Expect VENUS’ domain to be tested,
but also,
for the wisdom of past experiences
to help transform “that which no longer serves the highest good”
…in order to shine brightly within our most authentic self.
Old fears will arise.
Old sparks (DESIRE) may even be reignited – in love or in business (partnerships).
Some fears and desires will be brought into HEALING
– with the help of KALI and the PHOENIX (death and rebirth)
in order to be re-born into their healthier more abundant form.
Bringing forward new opportunities
from what may seem useless, or may have been long forgotten.
Be honest
about the unaddressed issues that are connected to those areas of your life which are asking to be healed.
Be {brave} willing
to let go of those attachments that have become
stale, lifeless, useless…
VALUE is also at the forefront.
The value that we place upon our self,
the value others place upon us, and
how we value others
and their opinions…
and let them influence us
– more so,
how we allow other’s opinions of us to move us AWAY from
our purpose and our most authentic self.
Kali & The Phoenix are bold, strong, intense change-makers…
{gifts they bring, and so they expand these aspects within ourselves}
but, certainly, subtlety and finesse are not their greatest attributes.
So remember,
HECATE
is here to help temper any energy or situations that become too intense or overwhelming.

[Towards the end of the month and into November, we will be called to look more closely at finances and investments. We could see challenges on a larger scale around this within the government and the banking system, stock market and funding.
So perhaps best to utilize these first few weeks of October, or the very end of the year, for any major financial movements.]
