He brings the reminder of
our ancient self, the ancient ways, and our deepest connections.
He urges us to be courageous
to let go of fear, pretense and falsehood,
to remember who we are and where we have come from – all that we are connected to,
to stand strong in our personal power

He began appearing to me after the eclipse of Jan ’19. First helping me to become comfortable with his presence, to learn his energy.
Letting me know that I was to paint him, in stages. Infusing him with energy, power, and healing.
With him guiding every stroke, I worked diligently. Then set him aside for a few weeks. Worked some more, until he was mostly complete.
Instructed to set him aside again until Beltane – when only a few details were added. He stayed in my sacred space through the dark moon.
Finally, with a few brushstrokes on the new moon of May, he was completed.
(…and then a hummingbird flew into my art studio, just after I signed him. I have hummingbirds tattooed on my arm. Affirmation received. )
