Autumnal Equinox…
first day of fall!
The Equinox…
a day of total BALANCE between the seasons.
A day of “reset” as Fall officially begins…
moving out of the masculine Yang spring/ summer
energy of Sun and action,
and into the feminine Yin fall/ winter energy of
Moon…
REFLECTION nurturing RENEWAL…
Fall…
the time when the last fruits are harvested,
the leaves fall off the trees, plants “die back”,
nature begins to go dormant…
Autumn…
a time to prepare for the winter which provides long nights
for introspection, reflection and rest.
Autumn is, in its way, the first step towards renewal.
It is a time to embrace (GAIA) Mother Nature’s
final whispers of golden warmth
and her first crisp hints of change.
A time to celebrate the abundance in your life.
Spend time with nature {grounding}…
connecting with Mother Earth,
and with PERSEPHONE as we too begin our inward journey
towards the deep introspection of the winter months.
The energy naturally shifts this time of year,
moving us towards those inner dark places – the hidden self,
which ask to receive
“the Light of our awareness” (!!!),
while
bringing ‘THE MYSTICAL’ closer to the surface.
You can feel the possibility for magic in the air {Magik!},
and the stronger presence of HECATE.
This makes it a wonderful time to {re}establish your sacred space, meditation and ritual (daily practice).
This is also a time when the veil becomes its thinnest hence the traditions of Samhain, Halloween, and Dia de Los Muertos,
as we are {more obviously}
walking with… engaging with… the spirits, on this earthly plane.
Tuning towards the natural cycle of the season,
should help to ease any discomfort and unrest.
{Unfortunately, within the collective consciousness is lingering aggressive, unsettled & shaky energy. We can help to diffuse that by maintaining a calm and grounded foundation.}
Rejoice in the beauty of each day.
Let go of that which needs to “fall away”,
allowing it to settle back into the earth, to be transmuted…
to nourish the soul’s renewal
(Just as the old crops are transformed to replenish the soil for new growth come Spring).
Celebrate the harvest within your life.
Remember that to fully reap the harvest requires a community,
for there is much work for ALL of us to do.
So ask for help and allow help before the burden feels too much
and lend a hand where you can.
