“Forgiveness is not an action or thought,
it is a spiritual act of healing.”
Today,
Intentionally (re)connect with the practice COMPASSION and FORGIVENESS.
Forgiveness is about one’s self, not the person or situation we think has “wronged” us.
Forgiveness doesn’t mean you condone a behavior or make a wrong into a right.
It does not mean you allow an unhealthy relationship or situation to continue or to come back into your life.
It simply means that you accept that what was done has been done, and nothing will change that. Then allow yourself to release the hold the situation has over you.
The qualities of forgiveness
– such as letting go, forgetting the past, and making a new start…
are shifts that occur when healing begins to grow within.
Start with the intention to be fully present – here and now,
and to stop listening to the voice of blame.
Have the courage to look past the hurt,
and the faith that you can heal.
Take responsibility for the healing process by letting it unfold inside you.
This requires patience, understanding and Loving Kindness.
Offer these first to yourself.
As self-forgiveness is the foundation to truly moving on,
and to forgiving another.
* When you do this, you free up “space” for Love and abundance in your life. Replacing the hurt and pain with hope, possibility, connection, and wholeness. *
Look at life – your relationships with others and yourself, through the lens of compassion.
Then
Get out of the way.
Let life unfold.
&
Open your heart to receiving.
