There’s an odd vibe about things today.
It’s a good day to be thoughtful of others
while thoughtfully minding your business.

This week
the influence of Mercury Retrograde will be front and center.

Though certainly travel plans and engagements can be expected to be rearranged,
the main consideration
as we work through our first M.R. of the year
ties into January’s overall theme to
reconsider and reevaluate

Mercury will help us to
look back at the most recent past
to be sure we are carrying the lessons and new perspectives forward.
This includes examining where
our own polarized views have put us out of balance
and out of touch with our neighbors’ shared humanity.

If we are to take the most direct path to the other side of our collective struggles
we must remember that we are all unique individuals
who are tied together,
and be willing to honor that uniqueness in each other
while maintaining (nurturing) our connectedness.

If you find yourself struggling this week,
remember again the guidance for January of taking time and having DISCERNMENT.
Slow down – made easier by Mercury in Retrograde,
let things present themselves,
(re)consider – rather than making quick judgments,
and keep things a bit more open ended versus fully anchored down.

If you are running full steam ahead this is great.
Just be sure your ego is not running wild, as well.
A little Humility will go a long way in helping you
see the bigger picture,
a broader/ another perspective, and
build bridges.
Helping avoid the potential of being shut out, closed off, or left stranded
… locking doors or burning bridges …
without realizing it
until later in the year when you need that door or bridge
and had no clue they were no longer unavailable.
