In the realm of the mystic within the ancient ways…

The Dark Moon has been acknowledged since the time of The Ancients.
It is the time between
the Waning Crescent and the New Moon.

It is actually considered the 9th phase of the moon.
In fact the new moon is really when the first sliver of light returns
– aka the new light appears.

Because this phase is left out of traditional astrology, the new moon is typically posted as within the dark moon – at its phase peak – essentially combining the 2
AND
Because I follow the ancient ways
and am guided by what the moon is telling me via its energy
There are times like today when the calendar says it’s the new moon but it’s really the dark moon.
So following the concept of “new light” appearing this means the new moon is tomorrow.

Having said all that,
it doesn’t matter terribly because the energies of dominant aspects of the moon come in a bit early, and linger for a few days.

This also means,
because dark & new moon are so close, there is an overlap and a powerful period when they actually work in tandem.
That would be TODAY!

Use this energy to your greatest, highest benefit.
Clear the way,
plant the seeds of intention… creation,
put action behind them,
and watch them
grow with the light
&
come to life.
