Today is the final New Moon of 2016.

This new moon, asks us to keep with the end of year themes of expansiveness, opportunity {setting ourselves up to receive opportunity in 2017}, and shattering illusions.

From now through the calendar new year,
the focus should be on what we wish to leave behind, what wish to bring forward and what we wish to create
– either by tending to that which is preexisting (bringing to the surface a hidden part or building upon an aspect which is generally played down or ignored)
or by calling to ourselves that which is “new”
{MAGIC, manifesting, ACTUALIZING – key words for 2017}
in order to EXPAND our lives, dreams, energy…
ourselves and our reality, in 2017.

This is a great time for journaling and for setting goals.
Those goals should include personal growth goals – on an emotional and spiritual level.

There is also very specific guidance for 2017 that
– though it will be extremely difficult on a national and global scale,
on a personal level there is real opportunity for change and manifested dreams
– as long as those changes and dreams are AUTHENTIC to the soul’s heart and purpose…
and in alignment with “the highest good”
Staying focused on this “Love-based” personal growth
by being accountable for actions and “the energy one brings”
and bringing the best self forward
– with right focus, right energy, right thought, right speech, right action…
to the world, will be key.
Mistakes will be made,
but it is the {understanding of} intention {that was set beforehand} and the willingness to learn and grow from “mistakes” {outcome} that holds the greater power.

The Guardians:
“The darkness is not an enemy but a valuable ally which holds many keys to understanding and expansion. Once one is willing to find fearless footing within the darkness, they will discover expansive clarity and ease in navigating the journey.”

Though we are to focus on what we want you bring into the new year, we are also officially in winter. The time of rejuvenation through rest and reflection.
These next few months are about slowing down, nurturing the soul and the home {inward energy expansion} before we “awake again”, “arising” in spring to the “bursting forward” {outward energy expansion}.
These first few months of the year are an OPPORTUNITY to make peace with the darkness within and the darker aspects of the self.
For it is important to remember that strength, courage, confidence, and clarity are found when we are in BALANCE with all aspects of ourselves.
Growth and EXPANSION can only happen when we are willing to see and accept the dark and the light, clearly and honestly.
{within this also comes the “SHATTERING of ILLUSIONS”}

Making space for receiving (expanding) OPPORTUNITIES… in 2017

It is important to NOTE:
“Dark” – as the balance to Light, is not the same as the negative, “lesser energies” or “lower vibrational” aspects of a dark self.
Vibrate at the highest frequency, in all ways. Including when working with the “negative” aspects of the dark within.
In this way, we are protected, held “above” those lesser vibrational aspects, and able to heal & release that which is pulling our vibration “down” to a negative state
– causing suffering and inhibiting growth and forward movement.

Finally, to reiterate a message from the final Full Moon of 2016
“Now is the time to make amends with those you may have dishonored,
and to acknowledge those you may not have honored enough.”
Be clear with what you are willing to accept in the coming year.
Intention, intention, intention…
